Maya Lin Opening

On May 8th Ms.Marsh and Mr.Edwards embarked on a journey to Storm King, a sculpture park located in Mountainville New York, with 5 visual art 9th graders: Amber Torres, Althea Bennett, Andy Beltre, Mimi Phan, and Ras Kassa Ramsey. They bravely crossed the Hudson River at special invitation to the opening of Maya Lin's newest piece, "Waves". Students experienced the entire sculpture park and had the distinct honor of meeting Maya Lin. Please ask these 5 students to share their experiences from their trip!
